Endometriosis Research Center
Considering the prevalence of endometriosis (10%), the Endometriosis and Gynecologic Disorder Research Center, affiliated to Iran University of Medical Sciences, started its activity in January 2015 in pursuit of the country’s major goals and contributing to the promotion of the academic status of the university, with the aim of expanding scientific research on prevention, diagnosis and treatment of Iranian girls and women. In June 2016, it was approved by the Medical University Expansion Council of the Ministry of Health, Treatment, and Medical Education, and was entitled as “EGDRC: Endometriosis and Gynecologic Disorders Research Center”.

The Endometriosis and Gynecologic Disorders Research Center, as a small part of the country’s scientific research community, is committed to providing the necessary framework for conducting fundamental and applied research for the production and dissemination of science in the field of gynecology and endometriosis.
